O Holy Hierarch, Confessor, Teacher of Truth, and Unmercenary Healer Luke, we bow the knees of our soul and body to you, and falling before your holy and healing relics, we beseech you as children do their father.
Hear us, O honorable Father, in our sinfulness, and offer our supplication to the merciful and compassionate God, as you stand before Him with all the saints.
We believe that you love us with the same love with which you loved your brethren during your earthly life.
Having practiced the healing art of physicians, through the aid of divine grace, you healed countless ailments.
After your blessed repose, the Master of all revealed your grace-filled relics as a fountain of healing.
For they heal various diseases and grant strength to those who venerate them with reverence and seek your holy intercession.
Therefore, we ask and fervently entreat you, bearer of the divine gift of healing: visit and heal our suffering brother (…), who is afflicted by illness and great distress.
Most venerable and holy Father Luke, steadfast hope of the sick and weary, do not forget to grant healing to our brother (…) and joy to us all.
So that together with you, we may glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — the one Godhead and Kingdom, now and forever and unto the ages of ages.
